Castelbuono is a town of 8,795 inhabitants belonging to the metropolitan city of Palermo, in Sicily. The village is situated at an altitude of about 423 m above sea level, in the heart of the Madonie Park, between Pollina (north), San Mauro (east), Geraci Siculo (south-east), Isnello and Cefalù - Gibilmanna (west).
